breaking communication

from the subtle art of losing yourself by Robin

/

about

six months had passed. she had not stopped journeying. as far as she was concerned, even if she could find an exit, she wouldnt even bother. this world was her home now. she belonged here no matter what. thats what the voices told her at least.

her travels took her through so many strange locales and introduced her to unbelievable creatures. she never stayed anywhere for too long, but she enjoyed the time she spent with others. they were few and far between, however. the remainder of her time on the road was spent far from other life, only really leaving her left reliving the emptiness she felt back home.

she sometimes thought of her sister, her family, her old home, her old life. some days she would see letters falling from the sky addressed to her. she didnt know how they got there, or why they fell from the sky. they all looked different, took different shapes and sizes, but each one had her name on it, and where the senders name would be, she only saw a garbled mess. but she knew who it belonged to.

she never bothered to read them. she wondered if she should have.
