after two long years, the follow-up to providence finally arrives. gone are the dizzying array of dated, 80s synth sounds and cheesy prog organs. replacing it is a new coat of melodic, aggressive guitars, hard hitting drums, and a freshness not seen in my work in a long time.

in comparison with previous albums that were labored on for upwards of a year or two at a time, this album was produced within about a month after two whole years worth of aborted attempts at following up providence. there's a sense of urgency to this material that i really enjoy, it's not something i've ever really been able to play with before.

within these 44 minutes is eight songs covering a fairly wide range of genres. from piano based ambient pieces, to synth heavy drones, to electronic/synth rock, to industrial tinged pieces, with a sizeable heaping of the guitar prog i've been writing for a decade now just for good measure.
