this is a short collection of modular synth pieces i made in VCV rack over the last 6 months while trying to learn the software. the first side was recorded on november 24th 2021, while the second side was partially recorded the same day and partially recorded today, april 5th 2022. each side is made up of two separate pieces, each one lightly mastered shortly after recording, before being collected together and sequenced.

there is probably some glitching here and there in a few of these pieces, especially the first piece as i was still figuring out how to record out from VCV rack. these are mostly tangerine dream style/berlin school style sequenced and partially ambient pieces, though there are some experiments with drones and percussion. everything was recorded in one pass with adjustments made on the fly and all effects coming direct from VCV rack, barring some compression, limiting, and light reverb done in post.

i couldn't think of a place to use any of these in any of the projects i'm currently working on, so i figured i'd just cobble them all together and put them out for those who might be interested. i think they're really good, personally, and i thought they deserved to be heard. hope you enjoy.
