volume 2 of soundscapes by lauren "robin" straily

this collection of soundscapes presents a marked improvement in both performance skill and in terms of sonics over volume 1. for starters, this is culled from a single continuous performance, rather than constructed from multiple performances. my setup has also changed since the previous volume. this one, performed in one take in january 2020, features my new guitar synth and harmonizer focused setup.

gone is the plethora of pitch shifters (although those are still fairly useful of course), replaced by two oscillators controlled entirely by my guitar, running into what is still widely considered to be a state of the art effects unit (well, at least the plugin version of a state of the art effects unit...). these are much more in line with the sound robert fripp achieved in the 90s, yet are also growing ever more personalized. while the sonics approach that of robert, the composition is growing to sound much more like, well, *me*. once again, i hope you all enjoy <3
